Coyotes Acquire Ryan Kujawinski From Devils

Arizona Coyotes President of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have acquired forward Ryan Kujawinski from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for forward Michael Latta.

Kujawinski has registered 1-1-2 and seven penalty minutes (PIM) in five games with the Binghamton Devils (AHL) this season. The 22-year-old native of Kirkland Lake, Ontario has totaled 13-22-35 and 65 PIM in 96 career AHL games. Kujawinski was originally drafted by the Devils in the third round (73rd overall) in the 2013 Entry Draft.

Latta has recorded 2-6-8 and 17 PIM in 20 games with the Tucson Roadrunners (AHL) this season. The Coyotes signed Latta on July 4, 2017.

Matt Moulson was waived for the purpose of being demoted to the minors. And Botterill pulled off a trade by acquiring forward Scott Wilson from the Red Wings to add a role player with Stanley Cup-winning experience to his roster. In exchange, the Red Wings acquired Buffalo's fifth-round pick in the 2019 draft for Wilson.
